Audition Information Due to the limited number of roles available in our upcoming 2007-2008 season, auditions will be held by invitation only. Willamette Repertory Theatre works on a guest-artist contract with Actors' Equity Association and generally casts two Equity artists per production. All other roles may be won through open audition. Previous experience is highly recommended. All acting positions are paid. Except for this season, general auditions are usually held in late summer. Auditions are posted in the 'opportunities' section in the calendars in both the Register-Guard and the Eugene Weekly. Actors who wish to be considered should send picture and resume to: Kirk M. Boyd Artistic Director 115 West 8th Ave. Suite 285 Eugene, OR 97401 Once the announcement has been made or an invitation sent, actors should call the office to schedule an audition appointment. Actors should prepare two contrasting monologues. Together they should not exceed five minutes in length. Callbacks that might include reading from the specific script will be held on an as needed basis. The goal is to cast the season as quickly as possible after the summer auditions. Actors who have previously worked for Willamette Rep need not audition but should notify the Artistic Director of their interest and availability for the upcoming season. |
